  With over 20 years experience performing, saxophonist- vocalist Obie Hughes has embraced a full and exciting career in music.

    Original member of the renowned American Roots Rock n Roll band Rumble King, Obie has recorded five full length

albums, several singles and an award winning short film music video with the group. He has shared the stage as the opening act for legendary artists such as Chuck Berry, BB King, Kenny Loggins, Joe Cocker, James Brown, Lloyd Price and many more.  He has recently performed with award winning country artist Dale Watson, Rock n Roller Lance Lipinsky, The Reverend Horton Heat, Jump Blues extrodinier from the U.K. Jackson Sloan and original American 50s Rock n Roller Roddy Jackson.  He has become the staple Bariotone sax man in the house band for the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender.

    Through the years Obie has maintained working relationships with a countless number of musicians, nightclub owners and casinos, including over a decade with Disneyland Entertainment.

    Obie recently released his debut album as "Ellington Hawk," his new musical venture as band leader and visionery.  Ellington Hawk is sax driven Americana music combining Rock n Roll, Blues, Jazz and folk.  He is working with an all star band consisting of Charles Glenn of Little Richard, Joe Perez of Big Sandy and Geoff Gurrola of Mercy Bros.
